Female Politician vomiting her filthy mind on camera:
Behold. It’s not ladies version of wrestling where the duel is nothing but a show-fight. It’s the dirty politics of this beautiful country. Debase

Javed Chaudhary, a very famous columnist and anchor of Express TV, was left speechless and flummoxed when a sitting female minister vomited the dirt of her filthy mind in a live show at prime time. She literally abused her ex-fellow (and current colleague in Assembly) in a manner that is best suited to illiterate elderly women living in squalid slums.

Miss Firdous Ashiq Awan (often dubbed as an opportunist), who jumped out of Q-League’s sinking vessel to secure her future by joining PPP, put on a good show for bad people and a bad show for good people.

It was absurd, disheartening, reprehensible, discourage able and shameful to the least.

The story goes this way: A couple of night ago (on 15-09-2009), whole nation observed in ultimate awe, how Miss Firdous (a minister and an MNA of the Ruling Party from Sialkot) was trying to abase the ravishing Kashmala Tariq. Clearly perturbed by Kashmala’s ironic laughter Miss Firdous was seen using the words which would be objectionable even in personal communications, let alone on a TV channel. The ease with which Miss Firdous uttered the words like “Prostitute” and “Heera Mandi” (Red Light Area) was mind boggling and pathetic at the same time. She was seen reminding (and clearly referring to) Kashmala that she (Miss Firdous) did not come to Assembly directly from someone’s bedroom (read Musharraf??? Or S.M. Zafar???) as some others (read ‘Kashmala’) did.

She may have some personal scores to settle with Kashmala or she may be just stating the truth, but a famous national TV channel was a very inappropriate platform to expose herself or Kashmala.

It’s unclear whether it caused any abashment to Kashmala, or not, but the revered ladies of Pakistan, sitting in front of TV with their fathers, brothers and children surely had nervous moments while the ugly scene was in making.

Considering the sensitivity of the issue, it is not likely (and rightly so) to create any ripple in our political scene, but will someone in the power corridors take a strong note of it and ask Miss Firdous, a ruling member and sitting minister, to keep her mouth shut in future. Such issues and such people are not bringing a good name to the present regime.

This is the dirty politics which we, the common people of Pakistan, abhor…

And not to forget the apathy on anchor’s face. It does worth a million words…

(Javed Ch. was quick to respond and today, in his regular column in Daily Express, he has given a symbolic and critical view of the incident that unfolded in his show. Read it below)
